Clients sometimes have concerns about counselling that they would find difficult to talk about with their counsellor. BACP’s service called “Ask Kathleen” is available for people to talk to someone about their concerns.
It’s good to know clients can talk to someone if they want to check something out and so, we advise them about “Ask Kathleen” in our initial session. We hope clients will feel able to complain directly to us but, if they prefer, they can contact “Ask Kathleen” and we give them the email and telephone number: firstname.lastname@example.org; telephone 01455 883344.
We have joined Bournemouth 2026, a community partnership of businesses and other organisations. Coming together means that the partners can support each other bring about improvements for those who live or work in our town. www.bournemouth2026.org.uk
We want to make our service as accessible as possible, hence our commitment to Convenient and Affordable counselling. All the sites we use are accessible to disabled people and, as they are in the heart of the community, all are on bus routes and have good car parking. Our policy is to talk to all clients about what they can afford to pay with a maximum charge of £35 per session.
We now want to extend our offer to people who’s first language is not English. We already have a Polish speaker in our team, Kasia, and we would be very keen to hear from counsellors who speak other languages. If you are interested to know more then please contact us.
